Let the furniture fit before it is made.
A shelf can fit a particular wall without becoming an entirely new engineering project. Tylko connects a customer’s choices with an established set of manufacturing rules, parts and assembly instructions.
PL PolandIn practice. A Polish furniture business linking a digital configurator with made-to-order manufacturing and tailored assembly information.
What to keep in view
Made-to-order production still uses materials, transport and energy. Configuration has limits, and it does not establish that every order avoids waste or suits every room.
Keep choice inside an engineered system
Tylko sells configurable shelving, wardrobes and other furniture made in Poland only after an order is placed. Customers adjust dimensions, layout, colour and functions through a digital configurator and augmented-reality view. Production specifications travel to CNC equipment, while click-fit parts and personalised instructions support assembly. Co-founder Hanna Kokczyńska describes this relationship between design, technology and production in the company’s 2022 report.
Customisation is bounded by a product grammar that lets one-off demand move through a repeatable factory.

Our reading: standard furniture wastes space and creates inventory. Traditional bespoke work fits better but adds design time, interpretation, price and production uncertainty with every order.
