The farm supplies the table and the reason to stay
At the Prenga family’s farm in Fishtë, a damaged corner of a stone house offered a choice. The family could rebuild it in stone or use the break to bring light into the rooms. In the guesthouse completed in 2018, a tall glazed corner follows the uneven edge of the masonry.

An opening in the old wall
The guesthouse gives visitors a way to spend time in the same place that supplies part of the restaurant’s food. The windows and farm operations work at different scales, but both make the origin of the place legible to visitors.
