Give a creative scene somewhere to meet.
A creative scene is easier to find when it has an address. Artcor offers a place for people to meet around making, learning and showing their work.
MD MoldovaIn practice. Artcor operates a creative-industries hub in Chișinău, with facilities, education programmes and a community of practitioners.
What to keep in view
Workspace, courses, events and shop purchases have different access conditions. Programme activity is not, by itself, evidence of economic impact.
A route into the creative community
The hub combines rooms for work and events with a programme aimed at creative practitioners. Its school and community activities connect learning with people who are already making things.
That is a different proposition from simply renting a desk. The value lies in being able to encounter a project, learn a skill and find potential collaborators within the same setting.
Let the city see what is being made
Artcor also presents work through artist programmes and its design shop. One postcard project interprets places in Chișinău through local illustration, giving creative production a direct relationship with the city outside.
The architecture makes the invitation visible: a sculptural stair and a new addition sit alongside an older building. It gives a shared creative endeavour a recognisable public presence.
