One platform, several ways to meet
At JuveCampus City in Zürich, Vitra's Reset system gives a shared space several possible arrangements. Stepped seating can bring a group together around a presentation. Smaller islands give people places to work in groups. The same family of modules supports both.

In practice. Vitra documents stepped platforms and group-work islands at JuveCampus City. The installation also uses movable partitions to separate activities in the same space.
What to keep in view
The diagram compares two configurations in principle. It is not a floor plan of JuveCampus City.
How it works in practice
Stephan Hürlemann's design shifts some decisions about the room from the building plan to the people organising a session. To use that flexibility regularly, someone needs enough time to rearrange the parts and somewhere to put the modules that are temporarily spare.
Vitra’s project brief describes a school that needed space for lectures, collaborative learning and informal discussions without structural alterations. The platforms address seating and levels. Separate movable partitions provide surfaces for presenting work and help define where one activity ends and another begins.
Vitra’s project gallery shows the stepped platforms and movable partitions in the classrooms and shared spaces at JuveCampus City.
