Give the listening room a measured reference.
An audio mix is judged through speakers, headphones and a room that all colour what the listener hears. Latvia’s Sonarworks measures or profiles that difference and applies a repeatable correction.
LV LatviaIn practice. A Latvian audio-calibration system for studio speakers and supported headphone models.
What to keep in view
Calibration does not repair room decay, isolation or every difference between listeners. Model-based headphone profiles cannot perfectly describe every individual unit and ear.
Measure the difference before correcting it
SoundID Reference is calibration software for studio speakers and supported headphone models. It measures a room and speaker system with a calibrated microphone or loads a model-specific headphone profile, then applies frequency-response correction in real time.
Reference sound becomes a portable software layer rather than a property of one expensive room. The same principle can move across a DAW plug-in, system-wide audio, headphones and selected hardware integrations.
Support the listener’s judgment
Our reading: mixing decisions depend on what the monitoring system reveals. Rooms, speakers and headphones colour that signal differently, making work travel poorly between studios and consumer playback unless the listener understands or corrects the variation.
