Move the wrapper around the load.
A large or awkward load is not always easy to put on a turntable. Robopac’s Robot S7 reverses the arrangement: the machine moves while the pallet stays still.

In practice. A commercial semi-automatic stretch-wrapping machine from Robopac Machinery, whose manufacturing base is in San Marino.
What to keep in view
This is a semi-automatic machine requiring setup and suitable operating conditions. Film, battery and carriage specifications vary; savings claims are not treated as independent performance measurements.
Change which part has to travel
The Robot S7 moves around a pallet while its film carriage travels vertically. That combination builds a wrapping pattern around a load that remains in place. The operator sets up the job; the machine carries out the programmed wrapping cycle.
Robopac offers film-carriage configurations with controlled pre-stretch and tension. Those settings govern how film is applied at different points in the cycle. The useful mechanism is the coordination of travel, carriage movement and material feed.
Make flexibility operational
A mobile machine can serve loads in different positions without dedicating a fixed turntable to each one. But that flexibility has conditions: clear floor space, an appropriate load, correct film settings and a safe operating area.
The wider idea is a simple reversal of an industrial assumption. When moving the workpiece creates difficulty, consider moving a smaller tool around it. The result should be judged by the whole workflow, including setup and handling.
