The outboard becomes one thing to carry
Getting a small boat ready can involve carrying a motor, finding a place for its battery and managing the connection between them. The original RemigoOne puts its battery, motor and steering assembly into a single electric outboard. The shape of the unit is part of the answer to the work that happens before the boat moves.

Plan the trip back to the charger
The integration also changes ownership. Charging applies to the whole unit, and replacing its internal battery is a service operation. The value of having fewer separate pieces depends on where the boat lives, how the owner gets to shore and what charging is available there.
Anyone comparing range needs to start with the boat and expected conditions. Remigo's later Neo and Go variants have their own specifications, so a figure for one model cannot explain the original.
