What to keep in view
The current lab and the planned permanent OBA Next are separate buildings. The possibility of relocating the lab has yet to be demonstrated.
Test the library with the people who use it
The temporary lab opened in September 2025 with a programme for young people. It gives the library a place to try workshops, studio activities and new ways of using shared space while the permanent building is planned.
