Take your work somewhere quieter.
Change the view from your desk without giving up a proper place to work. Mokrin House brings the routines of remote work into a village setting.
RS SerbiaIn practice. Mokrin House operates a coworking and coliving estate in northern Serbia, with workspace separate from accommodation.
What to keep in view
This is a paid stay and workspace, not an open public service. Packages, activities and availability vary; no productivity or wellbeing outcome is guaranteed.
Separate the desk from the bed
The estate combines places to sleep, shared meals and a dedicated workspace. Its two-storey working area is separate from the accommodation, so a change of scene does not have to mean working from a bedroom.
The setting matters too. Old and new buildings reinterpret the local village yard, gathering different activities around outdoor space rather than inside a conventional office block.
Leave room for the rest of the day
Bicycles, workshops and communal activities offer ways to meet beyond a screen. They make the shared stay more than a collection of rented desks. This is a practical experiment in how a working week can be organised when being in the same city is no longer essential.
