The existing fuel stop gains another kind of refuelling
ORLEN and Inbalance Grid reported the first charging locations at Kalvarija and Kryžkalnis. Existing fuel stops have road access and a familiar place to pull off. Adding fast charging asks whether those same sites can serve a stop of a different duration.
LT LithuaniaIn practice. Lithuanian charging rollout puts high-power charging into existing roadside locations.
What to keep in view
The partners distinguish opened sites from their planned rollout. Check the live status of the charger before travelling.
Putting charging where drivers already stop
The openings are distinct from the wider rollout the partners announced. Look up actual charger availability, compatibility and pricing for the station before relying on it. A useful network needs functioning sites in the right places as well as a large planned total.
