A membership opens the workshop door
The CYENS Thinker Maker Space in Nicosia provides access to digital fabrication alongside wood and metal work. A creator who has a drawing but no machine can develop a prototype with technical support. The staff can help decide whether the model, material and equipment suit each other.
CY CyprusIn practice. Shared fabrication equipment and technical support help local creatives build physical prototypes.
What to keep in view
Equipment access depends on induction, eligibility and the session.
A tool and the knowledge to use it
One example on the public programme was a WIP Festival workshop scheduled for 17 October 2026. Participants were invited to build machines that make marks with motors and simple linkages, using Arduino to change the movement. The session gave beginners a specific object to make and a reason to learn what the equipment could do.
