A bookcase turns into a bed
Rooms sometimes need to work differently at night. In Clei’s LGM system, a rotating assembly presents a bookcase on one side and the bed on the other. Turning the unit and lowering the bed change the use of the same footprint.

Design for the changeover
A useful wall bed is judged in both positions. The route around it has to remain usable, the shelf has to behave as intended during rotation and the bed has to clear the furniture around it. The benefit is a room that can change use without needing a second room for sleep.
